Position Summary :

As a Host / Hostess at Mika, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. Your role is to warmly greet, seat, and bid farewell to every guest, ensuring their experience begins and ends with genuine hospitality. You will manage reservations, coordinate table flow with servers and management, and maintain a polished presence at the host stand.

Key Responsibilities :

Warmly welcome every guest with a friendly, energetic, and approachable demeanor

Manage reservations and walk-ins using our booking platform

Maintain accurate wait times and provide timely updates to guests

Communicate table statuses with service staff and management to ensure smooth flow

Monitor dining areas to assess seat availability, service, and cleanliness

Respond to guest inquiries with knowledge and enthusiasm about the restaurant

Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area

Support team members and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications :

Prior experience in a guest-facing hospitality role preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment

Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Professional appearance and demeanor

Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
