Position Title : Paralegal – Immigration (EOIR & USCIS)
Location : Miami, FL (Remote or Hybrid options available)
Type : Full-time
Language Requirement : Bilingual – English and Spanish
Compensation : $60,000 annually
About the Role
García, Montoya & Rengifo Law, PLLC is seeking a highly skilled and organized immigration paralegal with proven experience handling filings before EOIR and USCIS. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Remote applicants are welcome if they meet all experience and language requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file applications before EOIR, including I-589, EOIR-42A / B, motions to reopen, and supporting evidence packets
Prepare and file USCIS applications such as I-485, I-130, I-765, I-601A, N-400, and others
Draft cover letters, declarations, indices of evidence, and exhibit lists
Maintain regular communication with clients to collect documents and provide case updates
Organize and manage digital case files using Clio
Coordinate with attorneys for hearing prep and filings under strict deadlines
Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in immigration law (must include EOIR filings)
Proven ability to independently prepare USCIS and EOIR submissions
Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with Clio or similar case management software preferred
Must be proactive, communicative, and client-service oriented
