Join a dynamic and collaborative surgical team at Piedmont Walton, where we perform over 4,000 procedures annually across four fully equipped operating rooms. As a Level III Trauma Center and ANCC Pathway to Excellence designated facility since 2022, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care 24 / 7 / 365including urgent and emergent add-on cases.

Our cross-trained surgical staff supports a broad range of services including orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, robotic-assisted procedures, bariatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy. The OR team is composed of RNs, surgical technologists, CSFAs, and procedure support technicians, with staffing aligned to AORN standards to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care.

RESPONSIBLE FOR :

Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his / her shift. Provides clinical care as needed when census demands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.

Qualifications :

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED :

Graduate of a nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC / eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :

Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable. Demonstrated clinical competency.
