Full-Time; Hours varySeeking Hematologist-Oncologist to build, grow and shape a developing Cancer ProgramEmployed, full-time position. Leadership potential for an experienced oncologistConstructing a new cancer center that will be approximately 80,000 sq. ft. and boast 32 infusion spaces, 16 exam rooms, 2 radiation oncology linacs, 1 HDR, and 1 CT simulator.Clinical research program opportunities.Opportunity for teachingOpportunity to obtain an academic appointment with the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.Supported by a team of Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and oncology certified nurse navigators.Focus on multidisciplinary care team comprised of APPs, social workers, oncology a dietitian, genetic counselor, financial counselors, and onsite radiation oncology.Palliative care and hospice services.Qualifications :
MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited internal medicine residencyCompletion of an accredited hematology / oncology fellowshipPossess or able to obtain an unrestricted Maryland medical licenseBoard certified or board eligible in hematology / oncologyExcellent communication and organizational skills, and team-orientedNew graduates and Visa candidates welcome to applyBenefits :
