Responsibilities :
- Manage case progression, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are completed accurately.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and agreements.
- Organize and analyze financial records, asset portfolios, and business valuations related to high-net-worth divorce cases.
- Coordinate workflow among attorneys, experts, and support staff to maintain efficiency and quality standards.
- Prepare exhibits, assist with filings, and handle logistics for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Maintain and organize case files while tracking billing and administrative tasks.
- Conduct research to support legal arguments and case strategies.
- Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with procedural rules.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documents for case preparation.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in complex, high stakes business commercial litigation.
- Proficiency in case management software and e-filing systems.
- Strong knowledge of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures.
- Ability to analyze and review financial statements and complex asset portfolios.
- Experience in trial preparation and handling high-stakes cases.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage complex workflows.
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and drafting capabilities.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders.
