Digital Literacy and Computer Science : Part-time 1203

Winchester Public Schools is seeking a part-time (0.6) Digital Literacy and Computer Science Teacher at McCall Middle School.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of curriculum development, instruction, assessment, and technology integration including digital citizenship.
• Researches and stays current with emerging technology materials, techniques, and strategies to enhance instruction and student learning
• Contributes to the digital-literacy team by sharing ideas, participating in team planning, and reflecting on feedback
• Proficient with the Digital Literacy and Computer Science standards for grades 6-8.
• Flexibility and a willingness to learn, plan, and try new and innovative curriculum.
• Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills
• Collaborates and integrate with faculty across disciplines to build meaningful
• curricular connections

Assesses student performance / work and communicates feedback to students and families regularly through district-designated evaluation procedures and protocols
