Grocery Associate

Position Summary : The Grocery Associate plays a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining an organized, well-stocked grocery department. The associate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and storing products efficiently while ensuring optimal product rotation and quality. This position will also include creating and building attractive product displays, ensuring products are properly faced, and managing product damages and credits in accordance with company and vendor policies.

Key Responsibilities : (Responsibilities may vary depending on assignment.)

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Assists truck drivers with unloading deliveries and the placement of pallets.
• Operates a manual or electric pallet jack (18+ years old).
• Stocks merchandise.
• Helps maintain a clean sales floor and backroom.
• Floor care maintenance may be included in weekly / daily duties. (18+ years old)
• Operates box bailer and makes bails of cardboard. (18+ years old)
• Assist on the front-end with cashier and carryout duties as needed.
• Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
