This position is accountable for the physical and transactional movement of turbomachinery hardware required for the successful field repair of turbine engines and related equipment, through Solar's combined unique Field Repair and Warehouse practices, including Inventory controls, and material movement processes, all of which are carried out within a business execution environment. This position requires a great deal of availability and excellent disposition to support business needs, which translate to customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Experience in a Warehouse and / or manufacturing and remanufacturing shop environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including software utilization (mainly MS Excel and Word), internet.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate material handling equipment, such as overhead crane, forklift, order picker and pallet jack, to properly handle large crates and equipment moved in the Warehouse and loading docks.
  • Capable of Repetitive lifting and moving of parts weighing 25 lbs and above.
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time with frequent breaks.
  • Work weekends and open to be on-call / standby when needed.
  • Must have knowledge of well-established standard professional principles.
  • Work within hearing conservation areas.
  • Be able to apply and foster safety as a first priority, and carry out tasks and responsibilities with utmost professionalism and mutual respect in mind.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Posses a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Prior participation and experience with Lean and other improvement initiative.
  • GED or equivalent education diploma is also a plus.
  • Experience with BaaN 5c and RF scanners.
  • Operate machinery at elevated positions.
  • Summary Pay Range : $45,809.00 - $68,713.00
