Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : ASAP Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel RN Position Job Notes : Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity : RN - ICU Job Details : - Work in 16-bed NVICU (Neurological ICU) unit on 7th floor - Patient ratios approximately 2 : 1 - Day shift : 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs; Night shift : 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs - Must work at least 4 weekends per schedule period - Float to all ICUs, BMT, and PCU floors as needed - Work with standard ICU equipment and Meditech EMR system - Required certification : ACLS - ICU experience required - candidates without this will not be considered - Meditech experience preferred - Oncology and neuro experience preferred - Assist with central line and arterial line placement, intubation procedures - EVD placement performed (core staff will care for these patients) - Must be a team player, accountable, and caring - Dress code : Royal blue scrubs required Facility : This healthcare facility operates a specialized 16-bed neurological intensive care unit staffed with experienced ICU professionals.
