Job Details :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Permanent Controller for our rapidly expanding healthcare organization. This role is integral to our financial management team and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our accounting and financial operations. As our Permanent Controller, you will be at the forefront of managing our financial health, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements, and making critical decisions that will influence our financial strategy and overall business growth. Responsibilities :

1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

2. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

3. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

4. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

5. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

6. Support month-end and year-end close process.

7. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

8. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

10. Additional controller duties as necessary.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as a CPA would be a plus.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry in a similar role.

3. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.

4. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

5. Experience with creating financial statements.

6. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

7. Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.

8. Ability to strategize and solve problems.

9. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

10. An ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
