DMBA (Deseret Mutual Benefit Administrators) is a non-profit organization that administers benefits for companies who are owned or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
We have an opening for a permanent, full-time INTERNATIONAL BENEFITS ANALYST (Level l) to work in the INTERNATIONAL BENEFITS DEPARTMENT.
The International Benefits Department is responsible for the administration of over 100 employer-sponsored retirement, health, and welfare benefits in 61 countries outside of the United States. We are committed to delivering exceptional service to our valued participants and employers.
This is a hybrid position. Team members must work at the Salt Lake City home office every Tuesday and occasionally on other days as needed to attend meetings and events. For the rest of the time, there is flexibility to work remotely if desired. Relocation is not provided.
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Processes benefits including enrollments, terminations, and withdrawals for retirement, disability, or death
- Administers benefit authorizations and payments, benefit calculations, case reviews and analysis, data collection, data analysis, and data entry
- Works closely with management and customers to ensure accurate record-keeping and that benefits are administered properly
- Builds strong relationships with management and customers through excellent customer service and being a subject matter expert on the benefits administered
- Helps maintain and regularly improve documentation of policies and processes
- Periodically helps develop training materials associated with the administration of products and helps deliver the training
- Contributes to key department objectives and projects as assigned by the International Benefits Department Manager
REQUIRED TRAINING, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE :
Associates degree and / or one to two years of experienceStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookStrong data analysis skills using Microsoft ExcelStrong verbal / written communication and interpersonal skillsGood organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy of workOptimistic, friendly, and teachable attitudeAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentPREFERRED TRAINING, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE :
