Interventional Radiology RN Job Details
Location : La Crosse, WI 54601 (Wisconsin healthcare jobs)Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contractStart Date : September 15, 2025Shift : 8-hour variable day shifts (start times between 7 : 00 AM and 8 : 30 AM)Hours : 72 hours per two weeks (alternating 5 shifts one week, 4 shifts the next)On Call : Approximately 1 night per week and weekends as needed (30-minute response time required)Setting : Interventional Radiology Department - No floating requiredCharting : Epic EMR experience strongly preferredScrubs : Provided by facilityRegistered Nurse Qualifications
Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse jobs in Wisconsin)Current AHA BLS and ACLS certificationsMinimum 2 years' RN experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, Critical Care, Emergency Room (ER), or RecoveryStrong IV skills and proven experience administering moderate sedation (sedation experience required)Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing required; BSN preferredCOVID-19 vaccination required (medical / religious exemptions considered)Ability to begin medical compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance (24 hours for quick start candidates)Interventional Radiology Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients and outpatients undergoing elective and emergent IR proceduresCollaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physicians, technologists, perioperative techs, and anesthesia providersAdminister moderate sedation and closely monitor patient responses during interventional radiology proceduresDemonstrate advanced IV skills and manage all aspects of pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient careParticipate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required by department policyAccurately document patient care and procedures using Epic EMR (preferred)Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient procedural environment in the Interventional Radiology departmentApply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a Travel Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and take the next step in your nursing career!
