Forklift Operator

Pay : $17 - $19 an hour

Shift : 1st & 2nd shift

Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate loading and securing of outbound freight shipments. You will also be tasked with unloading and checking the accuracy of inbound freight, and storing materials according to company procedures. This role involves preparing paperwork for outbound shipments, including bills of lading, and maintaining organized filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure outbound shipments accurately.
• Unload and verify inbound freight accuracy.
• Prepare and file paperwork for outbound shipments, including bills of lading.
• Clean areas after removing racks.
• Collaborate and communicate with the Service Center Supervisor and Area Marketing Manager regarding shipments.
• Assist with office procedures, including customer calls, order processing, and inventory checks.
• Conduct cycle inventory counts using the computer system.
• Work required hours, including during emergencies or as instructed by supervisors.
• Attend necessary meetings or training sessions as instructed by leadership.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled smaller warehouse environment that services utility and power lines for various electrical companies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00 / hr.
