This On-Call Shuttle Driver position is designed to provide coverage when our regularly scheduled drivers are unavailable. This role is perfect for former school bus drivers, looking to stay active with flexible, as-needed work. If hired, you will be contacted to provide coverage when regularly scheduled drivers are unavailable. Monday - Friday 6 : 00 am - 7 : 00 pm Morning Shift - 6 : 00am - 10 : 00am Afternoon Shift - 3 : 00pm - 7 : 00pm Over the age of 21 years old Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer High school Diploma or GED Possess a valid active in-state regular driver's license (Permit or Probationary License not accepted) At least 2 years of Van / shuttle driving experience with a strong, personable, customer-centric background is required Extremely safe driver, familiar with and able to adhere to all major traffic laws Maintained a clean driving record for the past 5 years as an active driver A CDL License is not required, but is a plus! Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility Answer guests' questions regarding offices or department locations Follow a planned route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off patients, visitors, and guests Assist patients, visitors, and guests on and off the shuttle when help is needed Use apps / technology daily to maintain operational efficiency and logistics for the assigned shuttle route Complete pre-shift and end-shift safety checks and document any damage or necessary information about the shuttle Greet and welcome guests to the healthcare facility Assist in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and professional work environment for your co-workers and passengers Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with all patients, guests, and team members Answer guests' questions regarding medical offices or department locations Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee This On-Call Shuttle Driver position is designed to provide coverage when our regularly scheduled drivers are unavailable.
