Job Posting Summary

We are looking for Registered Nurses (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Fleming Island FL. This is a Full-time night shift position in our Labor and Delivery and Maternal Newborn unit at Baptist Medical Center Clay. Baptist Clay is one of the fastest growing Labor and Delivery Hospital in the county.

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement
• Organize and supervision care provided by supportive personnel
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and significant others (SO) / families in developing and individualized plan of care
• Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care in newborn nursery and postpartum units including, but not limited to, caring for the antepartum patient, high risk postpartum patient and the mother / baby couplet
