The Conveyable Loader position requires an associate to load cases onto a pallet, remove cases from the conveyors, and palletize them to load them onto the truck. Conveyable loaders must be able to move at a fast pace, reading labels and identifying routes while handling cases without breaking them. He or she meets standard productivity goals daily and appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure workplace. Specific duties and responsibilities will be assigned according to the assigned workstation.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred
- Experience in operating an electric pallet jack, forklift, and other power equipment preferred
Responsibilities
Accurately read route numbers and truck numbers to ensure the correct truck is being loadedAccurately use the Company's Warehouse management system to make sure all cases are accounted for on the manifestEnsure all loads are properly stacked, secured, and stableIdentify damages and safely clean up spillsOperate a hand truck and operate a motorized electric pallet jackSafely operate the conveyor line and properly shut it down in case of emergencyKeep appropriate records to guarantee inventory control, rotation of stock, and security are maintainedAssist with physical inventories as requiredAssist in other doors or areas when necessary or assignedOperate all equipment in a safe and efficient mannerReport in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipmentConduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe mannerAssist in maintaining the security of the WarehousePerform other duties as assignedCompetencies
