Job Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive health care services for individuals in a residential setting, overseeing health activities in the residence, and ensuring optimal healthcare services for individuals in alignment with the agency's objectives. This role involves providing coordinated healthcare services for individuals in group homes.
Location : Bronx, NY
Hours : Day shift, Monday - Friday, Full-time
Pay Rate : Up to $46 per hour + benefits (Health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, referral program, flexible scheduling options.)
Responsibilities :
Perform pre-admission and post-admission evaluations for new patients / residents.
Conduct health assessments, recommend necessary interventions, and ensure accurate medical record-keeping in compliance with relevant regulations.
Review and interpret medical reports, communicating key information to appropriate staff, family members, or healthcare providers.
Collaborate with external healthcare providers such as physicians, dentists, and specialists to ensure optimal care.
Oversee medication administration and related processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Requirements :
Valid RN license in the state of New York and an Associate Degree in Nursing.
Knowledge of developmental disabilities and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
Experience in critical care, assisted living settings, or group homes is a plus. Why Join Us?
