Job Description

The Agency Sales Inside Territory Senior Consultant is responsible for soliciting new business from agents and maintaining current business levels by meeting territory volume and profit objectives, while maintaining and growing a relationship between National General Insurance, potential agents, current agents, and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Achievesagreed upon new business production, direct written premium, loss ratio goals, and other KPIson an annual basisby effectively managing theagents of an assigned territory
• Terminatesagents for lack of production, unprofitable results, or other cause
• Increasesthe percentage of producing agents within the territory through additional trainingand process improvements
• Recommendsagencies to participate in profit-sharing, rewards, and special incentives programs, andother agency sales initiatives
• Solicits new agencies, evaluatestheir potential to write quality new business, and recommendsqualified new agencies for appointment to theRegional Sales Managers and / or Sales Vice Presidents
