Job Title : Locum Orthopedic Surgeon Summary Join a dedicated team at a Level II Trauma center in Tacoma, WA, where we are seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon for a locum position covering 2 weeks per month. The facility provides robust support and operates within both hospital and outpatient clinic settings. Enjoy working with a collaborative team in a community-focused environment. Job Responsibilities Cover the ER 24 / 7 with dedicated PA support for 2 weeks each month. Engage in outpatient clinic duties for 3.5 days per week. Perform a full spectrum of orthopedic procedures, excluding complex pelvic issues. Support and train medical assistants in the outpatient clinic setting. Maintain effective communication with hospital staff and support teams. Ensure quality patient care and manage daily patient admissions. Qualifications Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery - Required Washington State License (or IMLC with LOQ in hand) - Required Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery - Required BLS and DEA certifications - Required (consideration for candidates obtaining upon acceptance) Clean malpractice history preferred Availability at the time of name clearance - Required License and Certification Requirements Active Washington State Medical License Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery Current BLS and DEA certifications Discover the vibrant city of Tacoma, WA!
