Description :

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Nurse to join our educational community. This vital role ensures the health and well-being of students by providing professional nursing care, health education, and support within the school environment. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering a safe and healthy learning atmosphere for all students.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide first aid and emergency care to students and staff as needed
Administer medications and manage health plans for students with chronic conditions
Conduct health screenings and assessments
Maintain accurate health records and documentation
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health needs
Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school
Ensure compliance with state and local health regulations and policies

Requirements :

Skills and Qualifications :

Valid Missouri Nursing License (RN preferred, but LPN considered)

Degree from an accredited school of nursing (ADN or BSN)

Current CPR and AED certification

Experience in pediatric, community health, or school health settings

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, organized, and able to handle emergency situations effectively

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
