Job Overview

As an Equipment Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment is set up and functioning optimally for our clients. You’ll be the hands-on expert who brings our products to life, working closely with a dynamic team to install and maintain various equipment. Your skills and attention to detail will help us deliver top-notch service and satisfaction to our customers.

What you’ll do

  • Perform assembly of storage systems such as modular buildings, automated storage systems, shelving, and vertical carousels and lifts at customers' locations
  • Perform troubleshooting tasks required for repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Move / transport materials from customer sites to our office
  • Provide training and support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve any installation-related issues

Position

  • Status : Full time or part time
  • Hours - Monday to Friday - Typical hours are 7 : 00 a.m. to 3 : 30 p.m. but can vary slightly depending on customer needs and other factors. Full time is 40 working hours / week. Part time is project based, as needed.
  • Location : Home office in Emmaus, PA and customer sites within a 90-minute radius (no overnight travel required).

    • Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED. Technical / trade training or college degree preferred
  • Must pass mandatory background checks
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record

    • Requirements

  • No experience is necessary – if you have a good work ethic and mechanical skills, we can teach you. However, construction experience is a plus.
  • Must possess an analytical thought process and solid problem solving / troubleshooting skills
  • Must possess the desire and ability to learn basic mechanical skills
  • Must be able to read and follow manufacturer installation instructions
  • Must be able to do physical work and lift up to 75 pounds
  • Must be very organized and have excellent attention to detail
  • Must be good at interacting with customers
  • Must be able to work well as part of a small team
