LHH is actively seeking a strategic and results-driven Commodity Manager to join one of our top client’s Technology Sourcing Team!
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating complex software and SaaS agreements. You will play a key role in driving cost-effective procurement decisions while aligning with business needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery. This is a remote individual contributor role that collaborates closely with stakeholders across the organization, including Legal, Finance, and IT.

Key Responsibilities :
Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for software and SaaS categories, including strategy development, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract execution.
Manage and optimize strategic vendor relationships through regular performance reviews and day-to-day engagement.
Partner with internal teams to align sourcing efforts with business objectives, influence stakeholders, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
Drive RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes to ensure a competitive procurement landscape and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and best practices, leveraging expertise in software licensing and contract law.
Support integration efforts during M&A activity, particularly in software procurement and supplier alignment.
Recommend product and supplier innovations based on emerging technology trends and evolving business needs.
Track and manage supplier performance, implementing corrective actions when needed to meet expectations and KPIs.
Qualifications :
Proven experience sourcing and negotiating software and SaaS contracts, with a solid understanding of licensing models and vendor landscapes.
Strong knowledge of business contract law and commercial terms.
Demonstrated ability to lead sourcing initiatives and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
Experience with procurement tools and processes, including RFI, RFP, and RFQ methodologies.
Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills.
Experience managing supplier relationships and conducting formal business reviews.
Background in supporting technology sourcing and procurement within large enterprises is preferred.
Pay Details : $30.00 to $36.00 per hour
