(Chicago / Hybrid) The Stewardship and Gift Planning Associate identifies new planned gift prospects through phone, email, or letter outreach. The associate handles inquiries, assesses giving potential, coordinates with planned giving advisors for direct follow up. The associate will maintain contact with current donors to recognize their support and collaborate on future gifts. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Planned Giving and is based in our downtown Chicago headquarters.
We are seeking an individual with a high school diploma or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or non-profit management is preferred. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a non-profit fundraising or customer relations environment with a strong emphasis on interpersonal relationships with donors or customers through telephone and written communications is required. Individuals with 3 years’ experience in a non-profit fundraising environment engaged in research, cultivation and solicitation of qualified prospects and donors for planned or major gifts is preferred.
