Construction Surveillance Technician I

Currently, System High is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Construction Surveillance Technician I to join our team. The Construction Surveillance Technician's primary function is to provide day-to-day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) construction efforts. Performance shall include :
- Assesses, identifies and communicates recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
- Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks.
- Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.
- Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead.
- Follow and enforce customers' Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and / or the Senior Security Representative.
- Conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces.
- Photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets.
Qualifications :
1 - 2 years related experienceSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years exp.Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experienceMaximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience (4 years)Desired Experience :
Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements)Education :
Bachelor's degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience.Certification :
N / ASecurity Clearance :
Must obtain an Interim Secret clearance to start and be willing and able to obtain up to a TS / SCI with Counterintelligence polygraphOther Requirements :
Complete additional safety training and / or certification as required by local site (i.e., OSHA 10 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 30 days of hire.Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hire.Additional Information :
