Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool (Days)

Location : Atlanta, GA

Shift : Days | Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday | 36 hours / week

Duration : 8 Weeks (possible extension)

EMR : Epic

Position Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable ICU Registered Nurse to join the Float Pool team in Atlanta, GA. This role will cover all critical care units , with potential floating to MTC, Step-Down, or PACU for patient holds as needed. The ideal candidate is a confident, team-oriented RN with strong critical thinking and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in ICU and other critical care units.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately in Epic EMR .
  • Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and hospital protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care.
  • Float seamlessly between ICU, Step-Down, PACU, and other critical care areas as required.

    • Requirements :

  • Active RN License (Georgia or Compact State)
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a similar-sized facility
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
  • Epic EMR experience preferred
  • Minimal RTO requested
  • Must provide a badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic details

    • Schedule & Details :

  • Shift : Days (Sat / Sun / Tues)
  • Hours : 36 per week
  • Contract : 8 weeks (with possible extension)
  • Float to multiple critical care areas
