CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) - $25.00 an Hour - (Suffern, NY)

Regional Care Network is looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant at a healthcare facility located in Suffern, NY

Pay Rate : $25.00 per hour.

• Full Time / Part Time / Per-Diem

Responsibilities of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Record a resident's medical history accurately.

Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc.

Observe residents under treatment to identify progress, side-effects of medications etc.

Monitor residents' condition including fluid intake and output and compose patient charts.

Administer injections, prescribed medications, enemas etc., clean and dress wounds.

Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.

Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.

Communicate with residents' family or friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions.

Requirements :

A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certificate in NY.

Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification from New York.

1 year of LTC Experience, SNF experience strongly preferred.

Effective verbal and written English communication skills.

Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.

Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
