We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee and manage all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for our organization. Based in Miami, Florida, this role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial statements, audits, and payroll processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and demonstrate exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare and manage comprehensive financial statements, including profit and loss statements, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Conduct detailed balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting processes to meet critical deadlines.
• Handle payroll responsibilities for a team of 10+ employees using ADP systems.
• Manage pre-paid accruals and ensure accurate financial tracking.
• Perform regular audits to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Reconcile credit card and bank accounts to maintain financial accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement financial strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational standards in financial reporting.
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and outcomes.
• Experience managing tariff
• Experience with Perishable Imports
• Experience with Prepaids and accruals
