- Acts as a receptionist greets visitors and answers phone
- Participate on hospital committees

Key Accountability (Procurement Functions)
Ensures the appropriate preparation and dispersal of medications in accordance with facility, state, and national laws and regulationsManage Pyxis inventory, including accurate selection and loading of medications, organize according to safety initiatives, evaluate medication use trends to maintain appropriate par levels, ensure removal of expired / damaged products in a timely manner, and resolve discrepanciesEnsures proper medication storage for medications including those that require refrigerator and freezer storageRecords refrigerator and freezer temperatures dailyPrepares a patient cart fill for each designated dayKey Accountability (Compliance)

Accurately reviews, organizes and codes patient and hospital records for data entry and patient billingOptimizes medication availability through the careful coordination of medication supply with medication needs by analyzing upcoming patient needs, managing inventory and awareness of timelines to obtain medicationMaintains a relationship with key suppliers to assure timely medication deliveryAnalyzes surgery records and compares them to Pyxis records to charge medications appropriatelyLooks at patient payment data to assess 340B eligibility for medications obtained for patients prospective to their visitLooks at orphan drug data to assess 340B eligibility for medications obtained for patients prospective to their visitCoordinates information with the billing office to answer questions about patient chargesShifts : 24 hours per week - 3, 8 hour shifts - Monday, Tuesday, and flexible on other day.
