Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts

Job Summary

Viltis is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Level Civil Engineer to support our client onsite in La Mesa, CA . The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of civil design experience with a strong background in water resources, hydrology, and stormwater design . Experience working with public and private sector projects —including school districts (San Diego Unified), the U.S. Navy, SDG&E, and the City of San Diego —is highly valued. Candidates must be self-guided, able to work independently, and knowledgeable of local regulations

Key Duties

• Manage, design, and draft civil engineering plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Lead stormwater and hydrology design , including modeling and analysis.
• Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare calculations, technical reports, and documentation for permitting and project updates.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, agencies, utilities, and team members.
• Stay current with San Diego County and California regulatory requirements for water resources and stormwater management.

Work Setting : 100% onsite, in person.
