2nd Shift - Shipping Forklift Operator (Monday-Friday)

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a forklift used to load trucks, supply packaging materials, and transport product to and from the shipping areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Load and unload trucks used for shipping product.
• Stage product and inspect shipping tags and documents to ensure accuracy.
• Perform general cleaning of loading dock areas.
• Assist in training co-workers as requested.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of one-year experience operating a forklift. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
