Porter

Here are some things you can expect as a Porter :

• Understand that our guest is our #1 priority.
• Check delivered product for quality and quantity to verify receipt of items on invoice.
• Confirm that all frozen or refrigerated goods are within HACCP standards.
• Determine method of storage, identification, and stock location considering temperature, humidity, height, and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space and other proper storage procedures
• Load / unload supply trucks transferring between storage and work areas.
• Make timely deliveries to operating restaurants throughout the property and on schedule
• Conduct Inventory
• Compile reports
• Shipping and Receiving
• Pick and Pack all orders
• Maintain the cleanliness of equipment and storage areas and remove refuse. Perform routine maintenance on equipment, where applicable.
• Transport unused product for disposal and soiled service-ware to the kitchen and / or production area for cleaning.
• Assist all guests with specific requests and communicate special needs to supervisor / Manager on duty.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
