Medtronic is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented marketing leader to serve as the Global Marketing Director for our Structural Heart TAVR portfolio. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies for our TAVR solutions, driving growth, market adoption, and innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners to deliver impactful strategies that enhance patient outcomes and strengthen Medtronic's leadership in the Structural Heart space. The Global TAVR Product Marketing Director will have a significant impact on the success of Structural Heart by leading our global product management, pricing, inventory management strategy and portfolio efforts. This position reports to the leader of the Structural Heart Downstream Marketing, Field Training & Development team, and will have responsibility for four team members. This role balances strategy and execution, supporting critical commercial team operations across the world, with particular focus on the US. This leader will partner with local, regional and international field leadership to support product management strategy and execution at the global and regional levels.

The desired work location is either Mounds View, MN or Santa Ana, CA, but candidates must be prepared to travel up to 30% of their time. Significant time will be spent developing and supporting team members in their strategic planning and execution.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

  • Drive the collaboration of the different regional stakeholders to identify product, portfolio, and pricing needs and define strategies accordingly.
  • Represent downstream in critical OU meetings, including PMR, GDR, S&OE and more.
  • Serve as critical strategic partner to US commercial team to ensure holistic product needs are being met.
  • Foster cross-departmental collaboration that promotes a culture of learning, effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Must Have :

  • Bachelors Degree or an advanced degree.
  • Successful, 10 years combined experience in two or more of the following functions : medical device sales or marketing, clinical experience (nursing etc.), training delivery, or other relevant areas.
  • Nice to Have :

  • Ability to cultivate knowledge and expertise of the Medtronic portfolio of Structural Heart solutions, and actionable insights on an increasingly competitive environment.
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills with demonstrated leadership skills and a genuine enthusiasm for training and development and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Experience with project management / project leadership, excellent planning and organizational skills coupled with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently.
  • Experience in multicultural organizations, particularly different learning and thinking styles.
  • Proven track record of ability to navigate and collaborate within a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is required.
  • Launch experience with complex technologies and experience in strategy development or support is an advantage. Knowledgeable insights on competitive cardiovascular catheterization, as it relates to valve replacement and interventional cardiology, would be an advantage as would knowledge or experience in the operating room or catheter lab.

    Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $192,000.00 - $288,000.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan. The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification / education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

    The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week : Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance / reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
