The major function of this position is to be responsible for the planning, executing, and reporting of finance compliance matters such as our global statutory financial statement and tax audits, global transfer pricing studies, Kering Group environmental reporting, corporate insurance, and other required reporting to assess and ensure the company's adherence to internal policies and legal requirements. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all compliance work and reporting requirements are timely.
Salary Range : $77,000 - $100,000
Schedule : Hybrid - 4 days on-site, 1 day remote
The principal responsibilities and duties of this position are :
- Global Statutory Audits Serve as a liaison in planning, scheduling, and overall project management as it relates to the completion of our various statutory financial statement audits in more than a dozen global jurisdictions. As the liaison, this role will prepare statutory trial balances, lead the audit / review process including work-paper collection, support, requests, and provide the final review and approval of audit / review reports (together with the Financial Manager), prior to official sign-off and filing with local authorities.
- Kering Group Reporting Work cross functionally to prepare required reporting for submission to corporate for all internal compliance matters such as environmental reporting and other internal requests.
- Transfer Pricing - Work collaboratively with external accounting firms on the preparation of transfer pricing documentation in all applicable jurisdictions. Assist as required with the implementation of processes and intercompany transactions.
- Corporate Insurance - Handle and coordinate global and local insurance related items, including annual renewals (preparation of data, completing applications, etc.), claims, Certificate of Insurance requests. Work with Kering Group Insurance team.
- Internal Audits & Reviews - Conduct internal audit of monthly sales tax returns to ensure accuracy and identify seasonal trends and potential risk areas.
- Global Tax Audits Assist with all worldwide tax audits. Manage communication with auditors and oversee the collection and preparation of audit support data. Represent the company's interests in a way that promotes integrity and honesty.
- Understand the company's ERP processes, business processes and system generated data required for the preparation of worldwide compliance filings.
- Other various responsibilities Assisting with operational government surveys, various tax notices, stay current on regulatory and compliance matters, and serve as an internal compliance resource for various key employees and departments.
- Complete other special projects and work at the request of management or other personnel.
