Description
This position is to manage and implement our new install base, current install base, and overall product support for the customers derived from the distribution partners and multi-site facilities, such as an IDN. Continue to maintain and establish partnership directly with our distribution partners, and bioMerieux sales organization. This position will assist our Customer Service in support of new business created, that directly contribute to organization revenue growth objectives. The Project Manager is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution and closing of projects through the monitoring and controlling of project related activities.
Primary Duties
- Perform all work in strict compliance within the guidelines of the bioMerieux Quality System, US Regulatory, Human Resources policies, and Corporate Compliance requirements for this commercial job function.
- Facilitates direct communications to major stakeholders.
- Ensures all pre-sales, install, and post-install activities are appropriately planned and executed.
- Integrate into client environment to effectively lead project teams while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates.
- Gather, formulate, and escalate feedback from customers gained from distribution customers.
- Lead risk management within projects, ensuring risks have appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Facilitate and lead effective project meetings, manage change and conflict, and develop resource planning estimates to manage project workload and productivity.
- Maintain authority and control of projects while ensuring accountability of all stakeholders.
- Manage projects within established scope, schedule, and budget while meeting and exceeding project management standards.
- Plan, schedule, and control project activities to fulfill objectives and satisfy project requirements.
- Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Training
Bachelor's degree in life sciences, project management, or business-related field required.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Experience
5+ years clinical laboratory experience or equivalent required.Experience leading equipment implementation projects or relative project management experience required.Experience with related technical field applications support strongly preferred.bioMerieux product experience preferred.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
