Your Role as an Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist, you will :

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will :

  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs related to functional status, daily living activities, fine motor coordination, and more.
  • Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, using evidence-based techniques in coordination with the healthcare team.
  • Evaluate patients’ functional status and consult with physicians to develop therapy plans.
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in their condition.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate functional abilities using diagnostic tests.

    • License Requirements

  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Colorado.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
