QA / QC Engineer

Our Richmond, VA office is looking for a QA / QC Engineer with exposure to civil engineering :

What You'll Do :

  • Provide high-level strategy for unique design projects
  • Internal Quality Assurance / Quality Control aspects during the project design and construction process :
  • Ensure compliance with all internal Quality Control processes
  • Completion of Quality Checklists for design
  • Review of all site safety design features
  • Detailing consistency
  • Constructability review
  • Assessment / improvement / maintenance of QA / QC procedure
  • Construction Administration
  • Assist design team in support of Construction Administration services for design projects
  • Complies with all policies and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

    • What You'll Need :

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering preferred
  • Experience in civil / site design including :
  • Extensive knowledge of site grading
  • Storm water management design
  • Utility design
  • Commercial / Industrial design experience
  • Subdivision design
  • Zoning research and analysis
  • Real world construction and problem solving
  • Concept site layout
  • Passion for design quality and desire to help produce the best design possible
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
  • 10 years + of residential and / or commercial / industrial site design skills preferred
