Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Patrol in Fairless Hills, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. You will play a key role in supporting a reliable and agile team that values integrity and puts people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.

Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related risks, adapting to the working environment as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to company and client guidelines.

Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support emergency response activities as appropriate.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
