Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will serve as the face of the organization at conferences, panels, and networking events. This is a high-energy, execution-driven role for someone who thrives on building relationships, hosting impactful gatherings, and converting interactions into qualified opportunities.
You'll represent the organization at industry events, host side gatherings, and operate as a trusted advisor - all while ensuring seamless follow-up into our sales pipeline. This role demands confidence, resilience, and an intrapreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Conference & Event Representation
Represent the brand at major conferences and industry events.
Build meaningful relationships with practice owners, peers, and partners.
Serve on panels and host networking events, breakfasts, or meetups.
Business Development & Relationship Building
Create strong rapport and credibility through high-touch engagement.
Actively identify and cultivate business opportunities from event networking.
Operate as a trusted advisor who reinforces the organization's reputation.
Pipeline Growth & Handoff
Ensure warm leads are consistently transitioned into the sales pipeline.
Track and report on event ROI, including conversion from conversations to opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth transitions and high close rates.
Side Event Management
Develop and execute side events (breakfasts, panels, meetups) that increase brand visibility.
Handle logistics, communications, and follow-up for maximum impact.
Brand Credibility & Market Presence
Be recognized as the face of the brand in the field.
Represent the organization with authority and confidence.
