Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,378 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel A facility in Saratoga, NY is looking for an Medical Surgical (MS) Registered Nurse (RN). Qualifications : Minimum 3 years of experience and current New York State license required. Must have Basic Life Support (BLS). Travel experience preferred. Critical drip and CVA experience a plus, at least one year current experience with telemetry population. NIH Stroke Cert required. Must have EPIC experience. Description : Every other weekend / holiday. Caregivers will be deployed from the Care Coordinator Center to where they are needed. Will spend time in ER for ER hold patients. THIS UNIT WILL NOT ACCEPT TRAVELERS FROM THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN NY : WARREN, WASHINGTON, FULTON, MONTGOMERY, RENSSELAER, SARATOGA, SCHENECTADY, COLUMBIA, GREENE, DUTCHESS, ULSTER , ALBANY. CHARTING : EPIC. Patient Ratio : Day shift 1 : 4-5, Night Shift 1 : 5-6 40 beds The patient population is adult and geriatric Types of services are provided for the medical / surgical inpatient, with a focus on patients requiring telemetry monitoring, hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, critical drugs and critical drips. May also deal with patients in ER hold. The caregiver will be required to take an ECG exam once they arrive at the facility. Study material is provided before start.
