TESCHGlobal (TG) is looking for an Interoperability Solution Architect. The Interoperability Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive solutions for clients by eliciting and analyzing business requirements, and linking those requirements to effective technical solutions. Core Responsibilities
- Facilitating Client Engagement : Meet regularly with external clients to lead requirements gathering and solution design and implementation efforts.
- Translating Business Needs : Understanding and documenting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for software, hardware, and infrastructure solutions.
- Architectural Design : Developing high-level and low-level architectural designs, including diagrams, data models, and integration strategies.
- Technology Selection : Evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and tools to meet specific healthcare needs, considering factors like security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implementation Oversight : Leading or participating in the implementation and testing of new solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and timelines, liaising to internal and external project management leads to promote efficient and effective project delivery
- Integration Strategies : Developing and implementing integration strategies to ensure seamless data exchange between different systems and platforms, often leveraging standards like HL7 and FHIR.
- Security and Compliance : Ensuring solutions comply with relevant healthcare regulations like HIPAA, HITECH, and GDPR.
- Performance Optimization : Monitoring system performance and identifying areas for improvement, optimizing for efficiency and user experience.
- Technical Leadership : Providing guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and best practices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Healthcare Domain Expertise : Deep understanding of healthcare workflows, electronic health records (EHRs), and industry standards like FHIR, CDA, HL7v2, X12, IHE.Familiarity with clinical terminology such as SNOMED or ICD-10.Understanding of CMS Interoperability requirements such as CMS-9115, CMS-0057 or associated underlying standards / standards initiatives (e.g., USCDI, FHIR USCore, Da Vinci)Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), data analytics, cybersecurity, and various programming languages and databases.Communication and Collaboration : Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, as well as to executive and non-executive audiences.Project Management : Experience in managing projects, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.Continuous Improvement : A commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest healthcare IT trends and technologies, driving continuous improvement in system performance and user experience.Healthcare domain platform experience with EHR systems, Health Plan systems, or related technology platforms.Cloud Certifications : AWS or Azure Solution Architect level certifications.Experience in service development, object oriented programming languages, database modeling / design, and working with various architectural design patterns such as Domain Driven Design.Additional Experience / Skills
