Job Description

Stockwell Engineers is a full-service engineering, landscape architecture, and land surveying firm with over 40 years of experience serving communities across the region. We are currently seeking a Municipal / Civil Engineer to join our growing team onsite in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This role is ideal for a licensed professional engineer who is passionate about municipal infrastructure and ready to take on project management responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will :

Prepare engineering documents including construction specifications, plans, and project schedules
Serve as Project Manager for the design and development of civil engineering projects
Assist with contract administration for municipal infrastructure projects
Provide project oversight to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results
Develop and strengthen relationships with both new and existing clients

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in South Dakota or eligible for licensure

Minimum 4 years of relevant civil or municipal engineering experience

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a small team setting

Proven record of successful, long-term employment
