ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Acute Care for a travel nursing job in Canton, Ohio.

Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Assignment Duration This is a short-term contract position spanning 8 weeks.

Schedule Day shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts.

Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed and supervising Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants. The RN embraces an environment focused on patient and employee safety and is a crucial member of the healthcare team, promoting positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.

Develop individualized care plans based on assessment data and collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

Provide accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses.

Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and prioritize patient education.

Communicate effectively regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care.

Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, delegating tasks appropriately.

Ensure personal and environmental safety in compliance with hospital policies.

Engage in professional development and self-study to enhance nursing skills.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required prior to first shift.

ACLS Certification required prior to first shift (CIRH ONLY).

Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
