Title : Structural Engineer – Entry to Principal-Level Opportunities (Multiple Openings)

Location : Cincinnati (Hybrid | 2 Days In-Office)

Job Type : Full-Time | Direct Hire | U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency Required

About the Opportunity

We are hiring multiple Structural Engineers at all levels—from new grads with their FE to seasoned PE leaders ready to become Principals—for several high-performing A / E and consulting firms based in Cincinnati. These firms are established regional leaders in structural design for commercial, healthcare, higher ed, and institutional markets, each offering hybrid flexibility, upward mobility, and strong compensation.

Open Roles Include :

Entry-Level Engineer (FE / Recent Grad)

  • Base Salary : $60,000 – $70,000
  • Hands-on Revit design & drafting under senior mentorship
  • Clear path toward EIT and PE licensure
  • Exposure to real projects from day one

Engineer-in-Training (EIT / PE-Eligible)

  • Base Salary : $75,000 – $90,000
  • Lead project sections independently with client exposure
  • Accelerated path to PE & leadership
  • Engage in site visits, technical reports, and team collaboration

    • Professional Engineer (PE)

  • Base Salary : $90,000 – $120,000
  • Full design ownership, client-facing role
  • Potential to grow into a Principal Engineer or Department Head
  • Opportunity to shape internal standards, train junior staff

    • Principal Engineer (PE + Book of Business Preferred)

  • Base Salary : $120,000 – $140,000+ (plus profit sharing / bonus)
  • Strategic leadership of structural division
  • Lead business development, client acquisition, and project execution
  • Equity or ownership potential depending on experience

    • What You’ll Do

  • Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood buildings
  • Create construction documents and models using Revit (a must)
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients across disciplines
  • Conduct site visits, prepare field reports, and support construction administration
  • Participate in QA / QC reviews and project management (for mid-level and up)
  • Engage in client meetings and proposal writing (for senior / principal levels)

    • What You’ll Need

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder only (We are unable to sponsor visas or accept F-1 OPT / CPT applicants)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred for higher levels)
  • FE Certification required (EIT or PE preferred depending on level)
  • Strong proficiency in Revit (non-negotiable)
  • Excellent communication, time management, and collaboration skills
  • Desire to grow in a technical or leadership capacity
