Registered Nurse - Telemetry\n\nLocation\n\nWest Virginia\n\nAssignment Duration\n\nThis is a 13-week contract position.\n\nSchedule\n\nNight shift, 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM; every other weekend required, with holiday obligations.\n\nJob Description\n\nThe Telemetry unit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients. This position involves monitoring patients with cardiac issues and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. Nurses will be expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.\n\nResponsibilities\n

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using Phillips Cardiac Monitors.\n
• Administer medications and IV drips per protocol, including Cardizem and Amiodarone.\n
• Document patient care and monitor conditions using the Epic charting system.\n
• Collaborate with a charge nurse and nursing aides to deliver effective patient care.\n
• Respond to emergency situations in accordance with established protocols.\n
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications as per AHA standards.\n
• Experience in telemetry or critical care preferred, but first-time travelers are accepted.\n
