Position Summary

A strong team member will perform duties including but not limited to electrician and all aspects of mechanical maintenance. Team member will be able to troubleshoot issues to ensure all electrical and mechanical components are in good working order throughout the plant. An Electrician A is expected to be able to perform all functions of an Electrician B & C including the below expectations.

Responsibilities & Expectations

Electrical

• Install and align electrical motors.
• Perform basic electrical calculations
• Perform tasks with all electrical test equipment (voltage meters, meggers, current generators, loop calibrators, etc.)
• Fabricate and install conduit.
• Perform soldering operations.
• Troubleshoot and maintain motor control circuits.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair parts on drives.
• Must be able to troubleshoot hydraulic systems and air cylinders.

Physical Demands Include, But Are Not Limited To :

Required Education :

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Preferred Education :

Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical program, or equivalent experience in industrial background.

Required Experience :

5+ years mechanical experience including welding, equipment alignments, equipment troubleshooting, reading of blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Candidate must be able to pass an electrical assessment test and have a minimum of 200 hours logged working under the supervision of an Electrician.

Preferred Experience :

Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical program, or equivalent experience in industrial background.
