Machine Operator - EZ Promotion & Apparel

Position Overview

EZ Promotion & Apparel is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Machine Operator to join our production team. This role will focus on operating and maintaining our Direct-to-Film (DTF) printer, ensuring high-quality output for custom apparel and promotional products. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology, attentive to detail, and able to troubleshoot minor technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain DTF printing equipment to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality prints.
  • Prepare artwork files and ensure proper setup of print jobs using relevant software.
  • Perform daily machine calibrations, cleanings, and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical or print quality issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage print queues and maintain efficient workflow to meet production deadlines.
  • Inspect finished prints for color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies (film, powder, inks, etc.) and notify management when restocking is needed.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet customer requirements and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Follow company safety standards and best practices while handling equipment.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience operating printing equipment (DTF, DTG, screen printing, or similar) preferred, but not required—training provided.
  • Strong technological skills, including ability to work with design and production software.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.

    • Work Environment

  • Full-time position, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm
  • On-site role at Watertown, WI facility.
  • Requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 40lbs, and working around production machinery.
