Freelance Data Annotation Specialist

A company is looking for a Freelance Italian and / or Portuguese Data Annotation Specialist (100% Remote within Italy).

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and maintain medically oriented datasets for machine learning, ensuring high-quality data annotation

Follow and provide feedback on annotation conventions and perform audio transcriptions in Italian

Implement text patterns to detect and extract named entities in Italian and contribute to dictionaries for NLP systems

Required Qualifications :

Native Italian and / or Portuguese speaker with Full Professional Level of English

Degree or strong background in linguistics, computational linguistics, or a related field

Familiarity with medical terminology or prior experience in the healthcare domain

Hands-on experience with data annotation, transcription, and labeling tools

Proficiency in working with text patterns and dictionaries for NLP purposes
