Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license – RN jobs in Washington

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level-3 or higher Emergency Department

BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENCP, TNCC or ATCN, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB certifications required

Must pass Traveler Telemetry Competency Exam

EPIC EMR experience required

First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department

Provide clinical support for a diverse patient population including psychiatric, trauma, medical, sepsis, cardiac, and stroke cases

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Float as needed within the facility or to Free Standing Emergency Departments (rarely)

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR

Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
