Excite Health Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Job Title : RN - PCU

\n Facility : CHI Health Mercy Council Bluffs

\n Shift : 12-hour days, Days shift

\n Start Date : December 15, 2025

\n Assignment Length : Approximately 3 months (until March 16, 2026)

Certification and License Requirements :

\n \n

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of practice (underline and bold as specified). \n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. \n
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS may be preferred or required depending on unit needs.\n

    • \n\n

    What You Bring : \n \n

  • Proven experience as a Registered Nurse in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar acute care setting.\n
  • Ability to quickly adapt to fast-paced environments and handle a wide range of patient needs.\n
  • Strong clinical skills, including IV management, patient assessment, and emergency response.\n
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.\n
  • Ability to maintain a compassionate approach while delivering high-quality patient care.\n

    Preferred Education & Experience :

    \n \n

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). \n
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent RN experience in a hospital, specifically in a PCU, telemetry, or step-down unit. \n
  • Prior experience working in a similar hospital environment is highly preferred.\n

    Compensation & Benefits :

  • Weekly taxable pay : $1,994.94 \n
  • Weekly stipend : $1,246.00 \n
