job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProcess and research insurance disbursements, lender-placed coverage, and exception items Maintain accurate insurance records and update policies upon renewal or change Manage insurance vendor communications and maintain good working relationships Answer inbound calls, make outbound follow-ups, and resolve customer concerns Reconcile escrow accounts, research refunds, and issue required letters to all stakeholders 1+ years of experience with residential mortgage insurance and escrow Working knowledge of PMI, FHA, and HUD MI Experience using MSP mortgage servicing platform High attention to detail with strong organizational and customer service skills MSP (Mortgage Servicing Platform) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Word 10-Key EDI systems Internal ticketing or audit systems Prior experience handling high call volume in a financial services environment Background in vendor management or compliance documentation Bilingual proficiency (English / Spanish)

Compensation & Schedule
- $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM
- W2, Temporary (expected to conclude February 2026)
- Start Date : ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
As a critical member of the insurance operations team, the Insurance Specialist ensures accuracy and compliance in managing escrow / tax impound accounts. This role plays a key part in safeguarding both customer satisfaction and regulatory alignment by processing, updating, and reconciling insurance data tied to residential mortgage servicing.
